Artikel om UBIS og Kalundborg Symbiosen i “World best practices Magazine”

I den 31. udgave af  “World best practices Magazine” har Kalundborg Symbiosen fået tildelt en 6 sider lang artikel, skrevet og publiceret af Global Forum On Human Settlements (GFHS). GFHS er en non-profit organisatio, hvis mission er at fremme bæredygtige byer og beboelse i alle lande. Herudover arrangerer GHFS også en årlig konference, hvor der uddeles adskillige “Sustainable Cities and Human Settlements Awards”, hvoraf Kalundborg Symbiosen sidste år modtog en af disse priser.

Under overskriften "Industrial symbiosis beyond Kalundborg" nævner artklen UBIS med følgende ord: ”In the project Urban Baltic Industrial Symbiosis (UBIS), funded by Interreg South Baltic, partners across Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Poland, and Lithuania are working together to create new industrial symbiosis projects and develop tools which will facilitate the development of industrial symbioses beyond the partnership”

Og…

“In this way, Kalundborg Symbiosis functions as a concrete example of the practical and technical solutions to ensure more sustainable use of resources. Simultaneously, Kalundborg Symbiosis can learn from international partners and ensure the continued development of the symbiosis. We believe that it is a prerequisite to sustainable development to work together across countries, cultures, and sectors.”
