UNESCO: Wastewater – The untapped resource

In a world where the demand on clean drinking water is constantly increasing, and where the water resources of the world is threatened by depletion, pollution and climate change, it is inevitable to focus on better ways to use our waste water.

UNESCO highlights the Kalundborg Symbiosis on page 66, as an example of an "industrial ecosystem", that has succeeded with a circular approach to industrial production, through valuable symbiosis partnerships

The report highlights the importance of this, maps the problems on the various parts of the world, and presents innovative actions to secure our future.
