The BSR Industrial Symbiosis Council will provide a platform for policy learning to build policy capacity in local, regional and national authorities, agencies and other public policy-focused organizations supporting industrial symbiosis development.

The Strategic Planning Leaders Forum annually brought together over 1000 participants: representatives of the Federal Assembly of Russia, federal ministries and agencies of Russia, regional administrations and legislative assemblies, municipalities, business, academic and expert communities, NGOs, foreign countries, and mass media.

To build capacity among industrial symbiosis practitioners, the project will provide opportunity for industrial symbiosis managers to work in other clusters. The 10^th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) is hosted by the Pomorskie Region together with the Baltic Sea States Subregional Co-operation in close cooperation with the European Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

The seminar invites Financial managers of the LPs and their FLC of Call 3 projects (priority 1-3) and latest approved projects of priority 4 to a noon-to-noon financial seminar on 07-08 May 2019 or 08-09 May 2019 in Hamburg.The seminar covers project financial reporting procedures, rules on eligibility of expenditure and first level control. The MA/JS also provides detailed guidance of how to handle the project progress reporting form and other tools to report on finances of the projects. It is also a good networking opportunity for the financial managers of the projects and a possibility to exchange experience for the first level controllers from different countries.The seminar will happen twice in two noon-to-noon blocks in May. The group of Financial managers and FLCs will have to split into the two dates mentioned above. There is a maximum number of 40 participants per group. You will be registered on a first come first serve basis.

For the kick off meeting, we would like to welcome you in Kalundborg on February 13th at 10.00. On the 14th, the program will end no later than 14.00. At the meeting, I would like to invite all partners to give a short presentation (approx. 10 minutes each) to let everyone know who you are and what you are bringing to the project. I will contact work package and group of activities leaders individually, as we would highly appreciate presentations from you on the tasks at hand.We will be joined by two representatives from St. Petersburg, who will present a possible new addition to the project. Both we and Interreg find it highly relevant to try and include Russian partners in the project and get a new perspective on industrial symbiosis development. Download agenda

The Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat (MA/JS) invites project coordinators and financial managers of the projects approved in the third call to a lead partner seminar. Communication managers may participate as well, however, participation is limited to two people per project.At the seminar, they can familiarise themselves with practical information about the implementation and  management  of  the  projects.  The seminar covers rules on eligibility of expenditure, reporting procedures, first level control and payments. In addition, the MA/JS outlines the Programme’s  expectations towards  project outcomes, involvement of target groups and project communication. The online reporting system BAMOS will also be explained. This  seminar  provides  a  platform  to  discuss topical issues with the MA/JS as well as among project representatives.
